In-School Manager & Teaching Artist
Cristina Gustaitis is a Dancer, Choreographer, and Teaching Artist based in Brooklyn, NY. Cristina began her formal training with the Pre-College Indiana University Ballet Theatre in Bloomington, Indiana. She graduated, summa cum laude, with a BS in Dance Performance from Ball State University in 2011 and has since had the opportunity to perform and teach in Italy, France and Sweden as well as throughout the Midwest and East coast. She currently dances professionally with Treeline Dance Works, MachineH Dance and various choreographers throughout the city.
In addition to her position of In-School Program Manager at WR Arts, Cristina is a Teaching Artist with the New York City Ballet Education Department. She has also had the honor of serving as a guest Teaching Artist with college level students and adults at Nazareth College, Western Illinois University, Grand Canyon University and Glendale Community College. In the Summer of 2019, she completed the National Dance Institute Teacher Training under the direction of Emily Meisner, where she worked directly with children while learning and implementing NDI’s renowned teaching techniques. Outside of her work as a Teaching Artist, Cristina is an ACE certified personal trainer with a pre & post-natal focus.
