In Studio Dress Code

An important part of your child’s dance & theater arts education is being “class ready”. WR Arts’ dress code will be implemented, to support a well-focused experience. Be sure your child is prepared to dance in clothing that allows unrestricted movement; no jeans, jean shorts, school uniform slacks, dresses, or skirts (without shorts beneath). Additionally,  no bra tops/ Crop tops/ Belly shirts, or shorts with less than a 5” inseam will be permitted.

Guardians of students out of dress code after the first 2 weeks of programing will be notified and your child will sit to observe class on unprepared days.

To reduce classroom distractions hair must be neatly pulled off of the face in a secure ponytail, bun, &/or by a headband.

Keep jewelry to a minimum! Small earrings and light bracelets are welcome. Oversized pieces or any distracting items will be collected during class, to be returned at the end of the day.

Leotards, tights, and shoes can be purchased online through Discount Dance Supply & Amazon but we encourage checking with local dance shops to enrich your child's dance experience.

For 2023, the universal dress code color will be BLACK. Any child can wear black, no matter your level & identity. Your child is welcome to wear the assigned dress code colors noted below but may wear a black leotard, leggings, tights, sweatsuit etc. as a general alternative.
